However, from time-to-time & despite our best efforts, things may not go quite as expected. We would always ask you to contact us to try and resolve any problems you may have and we will do our utmost to assist you.
All purchases from our site are performed in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations & E-Commerce Regulations for your protection and peace-of-mind. Details of your rights are outlined below:

(1) Definitions
(1.1) These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by Iridium Engineering
Services Ltd (hereafter known as Iridium).
(1.2) "Buyer" - means any person(s) placing an online order.
(1.3) "Working days" are defined as any day
except Saturday, Sunday & Bank or public holidays
(2) About Us
(2.1) Iridium is a private limited company 100% owned & operated
by professional engineer Sean Murphy & dedicated to supplying the
highest quality services, components and fluids to ensure your total
satisfaction. We operate a trustworthy & honest business - should
you experience any problem with our products or services, please let
us know & we will do our utmost to rectify the situation.

(3) Making A Purchase
(3.1) Browse our web pages, and add any items that you wish to buy into
the RomanCart shopping cart. The price of your goods along with the
applicable carriage will then be displayed.
(3.2) After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and
you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete
the order.
(3.3) We accept payment via PayPal & Netbanx/Worldpay by credit
& debit card payments. By using Paypal & Netbanx, your payment
details are secure &, in the case of Paypal, your card or account
details are not transmitted to us. Netbanx is 3D-Secure &
PCI compliant with the latest industry standards.
What is 3D Secure™?
3D Secure (3DS) is the new technical standard developed by Visa and
MasterCard designed to combat online credit card fraud. Cardholders
who have registered for Verify by Visa® or MasterCard SecureCode® use
their password to validate their identity whenever they make a purchase
on a participating site.
NETBANX is fully compliant with 3D Secure™ standards.
(4) Contract Process
(4.1) The description & price of the goods you order will be as
shown on our website at the time you place your order.
(4.2) No contract exists between you and Iridium for the sale
of any goods until Iridium has received & accepted your order
and Iridium has received payment in full (in cleared funds). Once
Iridium does so, there is a binding legal contract between us.
(4.2a) To clarify, a confirmation invoice
of your order will be sent to you via e-mail when you place your order
showing your order number, but acceptance of your offer to buy the goods
will not take place until after your payment is taken and you receive
your "Order Acceptance" or "Sent to Manufacturer"
email. It is at this point that a binding legal contract is created and
any contract is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
(4.3) The contract is subject to your right of cancellation, as detailed
in the Returns & Cancellations section below.
(4.4) If there is an error or material change in the product pricing,
delivery or specification with your order we will always contact you to
offer you the opportunity to accept the revised price(s) or the opportunity
to cancel your order. No alternative or substitute products to that detailed
on your order will be offered.
(4.5) Payment for the goods & delivery charges can be made by any
method shown on our website at the time you place your order. Payment
shall be due before delivery & time for payment shall be of the essence.
(4.6) There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received.
(4.7) Payments shall be made by you without any deduction whether
by way of set-off, counterclaim, discount, abatement or otherwise.
(5) Delivery Schedule
(5.1) We act as authorised agents & distributors & in most
cases our products will be despatched directly to you from our chosen
suppliers.
(5.2)Iridium always aim to despatch orders as fast as possible.
However, please allow up to 48 days
as some products are in high demand or special order.
(5.3) If you would like an update on your order or despatch status,
please contact us and we will advise you after contacting the relevant
supplier(s).
(5.4) Working days are defined as any day except
Saturday, Sunday and Bank or public holidays.
(5.5) When payment is made by Paypal or Netbanx, we shall deliver
to the address registered with Paypal or as detailed when you complete
the checkout process in the case of a Netbanx payment. It is your
responsibility to ensure this address is accurate & up-to-date
& we accept no liability for orders wrongly delivered to this
address.
(5.6) For orders delivered to commercial, work or business premises,
we are not liable for lost, delayed or wrongly internally-delivered
goods once signed for.
(5.7) If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under
Iridium's control, Iridium will inform you as soon as possible and
refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you.
(5.8) If you deliberately fail to take delivery of the goods (otherwise
than by reason of circumstances under control of Iridium) then Iridium
may:
Store the goods until actual delivery
and charge you for reasonable costs (including insurance) of storage;
or:
(5.8a) Sell the goods at the best readily obtainable price and (after
deducting all reasonable storage and selling expenses) account to you
for any excess over the price you agreed to pay for the goods or charge
you for any shortfall below the price you agreed to pay for the goods.
(5.9) If you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your contract
under the Distance Selling Regulations, Iridium shall refund or re-credit
you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you for the goods,
less any expenses incurred for any returned delivery.
(5.10) Every effort will be made to deliver
the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted.
However, Iridium will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered
by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.
(5.11)
Overseas Delivery . We use Royail Mail Airmail Small
Packets service to ship our vanos kits abroad. We are only able to
track the order within the UK as the local mail services do not provide
tracking information. Delivery times will also be longer than usual
as goods frequently get held up awaiting Customs clearance in the
destination country. For overseas orders our delivery times are extended
to 60 days to allow
Customs clearance & local delivery.
(5.12) In any event Time for delivery shall not be of the
essence.
(6) Back Orders
(6.1) If your item is not in stock with us or our supplier, we will
back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to
cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
(7) Tax Charges
(7.1) We are not currently VAT registered.
(8) Payment
Security
(8.1) We chose to use PayPal, Netbanx & Roman Cart to protect
your security. These companies are leading online payment providers
& use the most modern encryption & security techniques to
protect your information.
(8.2) Iridium will take reasonable precautions to keep the details
of your order and payment secure but unless the Iridium is negligent,
Iridium will not be liable for unauthorised access to information
supplied by you.
(9) Guarantee
(9.1) We guarantee the product will be as described & supplied
according to the customer order, subject to our terms regarding delivery
address.
(9.2) All guarantees for products are provided by the manufacturers/UK
importers and are subject to terms contained therein. Buyers are reminded
to complete and return all warranty cards/documents upon receipt of
goods where appropriate.
(9.3) Warranty and/or our liability is restricted to the replacement
or refund of the supplied goods value, but no consequential loss (e.g.
carriage, garage labour costs, component cost, vehicle recovery, car
hire, loss of earnings, etc.) from any resulting problems. Your statutory
rights are not affected.

& are often busy working on a customers car so if you do not receive

(11) Privacy Policy
(11.1) Iridium Engineering Services hates spam & junk emails!
As such, we will NOT disclose Buyers' information to third parties
other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment
(i.e. your name and delivery address). Cookies are used on this shopping
site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart only.
(12) Returns & Cancellation Policy
(12.1) You have a 'cooling off' period of 7 days from receiving your
goods to cancel your order in accordance with the Terms below.
(12.2) Your rights to return goods are protected under the Consumer
Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
(12.3) Clauses 12.3A, 12.3B, 12.3C and 12.3D below shall apply to a person who purchases goods through our website as a consumer & is resident within European Economic Community. Trade or business buyers are excluded from these terms.
(12.3A). The Buyer shall have the right to cancel any contract for goods made by ordering through our website, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, within seven working days of delivery of the goods. bespoke-order goods shall not be returnable under the terms of this clause. Cancellation of the contract can be effected by service of a Written Notice signed by the Buyer or email (phone call is NOT acceptable) which details clearly our Order Receipt Number and the name and address of the Buyer, and delivered by post to Iridium at the address given in the "About Us" section of these Terms or email to sales@iridiumengineering.co.uk.
(12.3B). If a Written Notice of Cancellation is received by Iridium in accordance with clause (12.3A) the Buyer shall become liable to return the goods to Iridium forthwith, to the address given in the "About Us" section of these Terms (and without having been installed or used and with all relevant seals and enclosures and/or packaging intact) and at the Buyers sole expense. The Buyer has a duty to take reasonable care of the goods while in their possession and to ensure reasonable care is taken when packing and shipping any returns.
(12.3C). If the Buyer fails to return the goods in accordance with clause B within 7 days of the cancellation of the contract, Iridium shall be entitled to collect the goods from the Buyer and to recover any reasonable costs involved in such collection from the Buyer.
(12.3D). Iridium shall then affect a refund of
any monies owing to the Buyer in respect of the goods within 30
days from the date of cancellation or receipt of goods by Iridium.
Such a refund will be subject to any set off of monies to which
Iridium is entitled under clause 12.3C.
(12.4) Goods purchased and delivered to
the Buyer otherwise than by means of distance communication (including
a Trade Buyer) may be returned to Iridium in original packaging (and without
being installed or used and with all relevant seals and enclosures intact)
for credit within 7 days of receipt by the Buyer, subject to a restocking
charge of not less than 10% of the value of the order.
(12.5) Special order/bespoke goods shall not be returnable by virtue
of this clause.
(13) Technical for HID Conversion Kits
(13.1) Please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that the
items purchased are suitable for your vehicle make/model and that the
use of said items complies with all applicable laws in your Country.
(13.2) In the UK, fitting an aftermarket HID kit is not technically road
legal as you are replacing a halogen bulb with an HID bulb, because of
this the HID bulb cannot be E-marked, which is a requirement for it to
be road legal. Therefore our HID kits are sold for off-road use only.
(14) Images
(14.1) Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
(15) Disclaimer & Liability
(15.1) We accept no liability for the results of products incorrectly
chosen, specified, used, fitted or consequential damages as a result
of any of the aforementioned.
(15.2) Our liability is limited to replacing or refunding the original
order at our discretion. The responsibility to ensure the correct grade
and type of product selected rests with the Buyer. We will gladly offer
advice, but where we do it is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure that
it is correct for the particular vehicle / application before implementing
it.
(15.3) The items offered by Iridium are only intended for use in a legal
manner. It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer (and not Iridium)
to ascertain and obey all laws, which apply to the possession and use
of any item from Iridium. Please consult national, local, State and
Federal Laws before placing an order.
(15.4) By placing an order, the Buyer represents that he/she is of legal
age and that products ordered will only be used in a lawful manner.
The Buyer agrees that he/she will not use or allow others to use any
item from Iridium in an illegal fashion.
(15.5) The Buyer further agrees to hold Iridium harmless for claims,
actions, and legal and/or court fees brought against him/her in connection
with any use of products ordered from Iridium.
(15.6) Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of
such use of the website is subject to the laws of England and
Wales.
