E36 M3 Manifold Repair
Our customised repair service incorporates a custom iLoc reinforced
& externally braided section that we weld in to replace the standard
thin-wall bellows.
Our flexible section, unlike cheap imports, has a smooth internal
profile to reduce flow-restriction & can withstand up to 800 °C.
This gives our system increased longevity through increased flexibility
& improved materials.
All manifolds are mounted on our dedicated jig to ensure BMWs' original
alignment & measurements are maintained throughout the process.
The faulty section is then cut out, & the new section aligned
& TIG welded in position using high-grade stainless steel EN316L
rods. The whole manifold is then bead-blasted before being thouroghly
inspected before being re-packed & dispatched to the customer.
All repairs are cleaned & inspected for leaks/cracks etc before
being shipped. Typical turnaround 2 working days or less! 12 month
guarantee*
Here's how it works in 4 easy steps....
(1) Select your model
& use the "Add to Basket"
button below & complete your
payment - this enables us to capture all your
contact details and the return postal address to send your manifold
back to.
(2) Remove your manifold
(cyls 4-6 only) and ship it to us (please use good packaging as
we reuse it to send your manifold back in. Remember to use a box
big enough to take the newly repaired manifold - your repaired one
will be longer if the original one was in two parts!).
If your manifold is broken completely in two - clearly mark
the relationship between the two parts BEFORE
removing it from the car - that way we'll know where to re-weld
it (Tippex is good)!
(3) We complete the
modified repair the same or following day, bead-blast it, then despatch
it back to you via next working day courier (usually via DHL/Interlink/UPS).
(4) Refit your manifold
& enjoy the lack of blowing exhaust noise & exhaust fumes!!!
Removes the air leak & restores your o2 sensor values to normal
and improves your MPG too!!
